SlimWin is operated by Noundry (also doing business as "Plu(rr)al" and "SlimWin"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the SlimWin website, CLI tool, and related services.

Email Address

When you request a free license key, we collect your email address. This is required to deliver your license key and is stored in our database alongside your license record.

License & Activation Data

When you activate SlimWin, we record your license key, a one-way hash of your machine identifier, machine name, and IP address. This data is used solely for license validation and abuse prevention.

Anonymous Telemetry

SlimWin collects anonymous usage telemetry including: app version, OS version, scan/cleanup statistics (bytes scanned, bytes cleaned, item counts, durations), and a hashed machine identifier. We do not collect file names, file paths, directory listings, or any personal data through telemetry.

Contact Form

If you contact us through the website, we collect your name, email address, and message content to respond to your inquiry.

2. How We Use Your Information

3. Marketing Communications & Opt-In

By providing your email address to request a license key, you opt in to receive marketing and product update emails from:

• - Noundry — developer tools and related products
• - Plu(rr)al — developer tools and related products

You can opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in every marketing email, or by contacting us at support@slimwin.com. We will process your opt-out request promptly.

Opting out of marketing emails will not affect transactional emails related to your license key or account.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Railway. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure database access, and access controls to protect your information.

We retain your license data for as long as your license is active. Telemetry data is retained in aggregate form and individual records may be purged periodically.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except as required by law or as necessary to provide our services (e.g., email delivery via Mailgun).

6. Cookies

The SlimWin website uses essential cookies for session management and security (CSRF protection). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:
